ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will quickly become part of an engaged, hardworking, down to earth team, who will welcome you with open arms.
Based out of our Head Office in Clayton, you will also spend time with our people who work across our branch network in Victoria and Tasmania.
You will be a true partner to our people leaders by supporting and coaching them to build an engaged, skilled, and ethical workforce that can achieve company goals now and into the future.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Undertake investigations into misconduct matters and complaints/grievances
- Provide coaching, advice and support to managers across performance management, disciplinary action and employee relations
- Ensuring compliance with NES, Awards and legislation
- Policy and procedure development and updates
- Providing expert advice and assistance on the full employee lifecycle
- Help drive various initiatives including Diversity and Inclusion, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience & attributes:
- Strong understanding of employment law
- Demonstrable experience in disciplinary processes (performance management/misconduct investigations) independently
- Previous experience in a predominantly blue-collar environment with experience interpreting Awards and EBAs.
- Ability to engage with a diverse workforce, display empathy and maintain confidentiality
- Proven experience in IR and ER, as well as change
- Degree qualifications in Human Resources Management or related field
