Work Experience Application form
For Students & Parents
If interested in Work Experience please fill in the above form and speak with your school coordinator, and let them know that we will be in touch (within the next 3 business days with the next steps). Also, know we will always endeavour to get your selected dates (ensuring at least 1 month’s notice is given), but unfortunately, this may not be possible in some instances. We will work with your school on an alternative, if this can be arranged.
Prior to starting you will need to complete (along with your parents and your school) any relevant paperwork and the online learning modules that will be sent to the email address you provide.
For Schools
Adequate timeframe – we require a minimum 1 month notice for all Work Experience requests. Noting there is no guarantee on dates but we will definitely try and work a solution if the student’s dates are unavailable.
Paperwork – Placements will not be 100% confirmed unless we have the Work Experience Placement Agreement (that the school will supply) from the relevant state government (Vic, Tas or NSW (in some cases). This paperwork must be signed by the student, parents & the school before placement can be undertaken. There is other forms and information that we will give you please ensure that this is completed or given to the student to complete.
Insurance – Government school students are covered by public liability and third-party property and personal accident insurance through the relevant State or Territory Government. Non-government schools have separate insurance arrangements. All schools are required to provide evidence of adequate insurance coverage before placement can be undertaken.
